# IODD Admin Manager
The **IODD Admin Manager** is a specialized Windows application and management framework designed to control the robust AES256 hardware encryption features of IODD devices. It allows administrators to manage encryption settings, user permissions, and device locking/unlocking directly.
## π Supported Models
* **IODD ST400**
* **IODD MINI PRO**
*(Note: ST300 does not support hardware encryption, and 2541 encryption formats are not compatible with ST400/LK100 series.)*
## π Key Features
### 1. Multi-User Management & Permissions
Administrators can configure up to 4 individual user profiles, each with distinct access rights to the encrypted drive:
* **Read Only**: The user can access files but cannot write, modify, or delete data on the drive.
* **User Change**: Permits the user to change their own password.
* **User Delete**: Allows the user to delete their own account from the device.
### 2. Administrator & User Password Structure
The IODD login system uses a specific prefix structure to differentiate between the administrator and general users (Max password length is 38 digits):
* **Admin Login**: `0` + `[Admin Password]`
* **User Login**: `[User ID (1~4)]` + `[User Password]`
### 3. Advanced Encryption & Security
* **Full Disk Encryption (FDE)**: Ensures the entire disk is protected on a hardware level.
* **Random Keypad**: The number positions change every time the screen is activated to prevent fingerprint tracing.
* **2nd Password Support**: Serves as the ultimate administrator key used during encryption initialization or when moving an encrypted disk to another enclosure.
* **Keep 2 Min. PW**: Keeps the drive unlocked for 2 minutes after disconnection.
### 4. Preset Management & Reset
* **Preset Management**: Save and manage all configurations as presets for easy and quick application across devices.
* **Password Reset**: Includes a feature to completely reset passwords.
## β οΈ Important Warnings
* **Data Initialization**: Enabling, disabling, or resetting the encryption password will **completely initialize (erase) all data** on the disk. Always back up critical data first!
* **No Third-Party Encryption**: Do not use IODD hardware encryption simultaneously with software solutions like BitLocker or VeraCrypt, as it may cause data corruption.
